MODERNA BOOSTER DOSE
Second Dose of Moderna must have been on or before June 22, 2021.
Boosters are recommended for the following individuals:
• people 65 years and older and residents in long-term care settings should receive vaccine at least 6 months after their primary series,
• people aged 50–64 years with underlying medical conditions should receive a vaccine at least 6 months after their primary series.
• people aged 18–49 years with underlying medical conditions may receive a vaccine at least 6 months after their primary series, based on their individual benefits and risks
• people aged 18-64 years who are at increased risk for COVID-19 exposure and transmission because of occupational or institutional setting may receive a vaccine at least 6 months after their primary series, based on their individual benefits and risks.
• The clinical considerations for heterologous mixing (mix & match) are as follows:
• The same product that was used for the primary regimen should be used for the booster. If that is not available or another product is preferred, heterologous boosting with a single dose of any of the authorized COVID-19 vaccine boosters is acceptable
